The service
Aksion is an educational simulation of a stock market. It is not a broker, exchange, bank or investment service.
No real money
Simulated cash, shares and results have no monetary value. They can't be deposited, withdrawn, transferred, sold or redeemed for money, goods or anything else, and they aren't your property.
Not financial advice
Nothing on Aksion (including prices, news, explanations or the leaderboard) is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. The companies are fictional, and how you do in a simulator doesn't predict how you'd do with real money.
Your account
Keep your login details private and give accurate information when you sign up. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
Fair play
Aksion only works if everyone plays fair. Don't:
- use bots, scripts or automated trading, or run multiple accounts to trade with yourself;
- try to manipulate prices or the leaderboard, or exploit bugs (please report them instead);
- attack, overload or try to get unauthorised access to the service.
Usernames and conduct
Your username, display name and avatar are public. Don't use anything offensive, misleading or that impersonates someone else. We may change a username or remove an avatar that breaks this rule.
Seasons and resets
To keep the game fair and fresh, we may run seasons and reset balances, holdings and the leaderboard. We'll give notice in the app when we can.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep Aksion running, but it's provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of a simulator.
Ending your account
You can stop using Aksion and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@aksion.trading. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
