What we collect
When you create an account and use Aksion, we store:
- Account details: your email, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), display name, username and avatar.
- Simulated activity: your orders, trades, holdings, portfolio history and leaderboard position.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as when you signed in.
What's public
Your username, display name, avatar and trading results appear on the leaderboard and can be seen by other traders. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
Choose a username and avatar you're comfortable sharing. You can change your display name and avatar at any time in Settings, and your username once every 30 days.
How we use it
We use your data to run your account, process your simulated orders, rank the leaderboard, send account emails (like verification and password resets), and keep Aksion fair and secure.
When something breaks, an error report goes to our error-tracking service (Sentry) so we can fix it. Reports describe the error, not you: no name, email, cookies or trades.
What we never do
- Ask for card, bank or mobile-money details. Aksion has no real money, so there is nothing to pay.
- Sell or rent your personal data.
- Show advertising based on your activity.
If someone claiming to be Aksion asks you for payment details, it isn't us.
How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your account for as long as it's open. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your personal details and anonymise your past activity on the leaderboard.
During this preview, Aksion doesn't store anything permanently: accounts are reset from time to time.
Your choices
You can see and change most of your details in Settings. To get a copy of your data, correct something, or delete your account, email hello@aksion.trading and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app before important changes take effect.
